ICN 2017 Congress Barcelona, Spain
The International Council of Nurses (ICN) Congress is the largest international event for Nurses and this year, it was held in Barcelona, Spain on 27 May -1 June 2017.
The theme was “Nurses at the forefront transforming care”. This international gathering of thousands of nurses explored nurses' leading role in the transformation of care, with a particular focus on universal coverage, sustainable development goals and human resource for health.
MAHSA University’s dean for the Faculty of Nursing and Midwifery, Associate Professor Zahrah Saad, was among the 30 delegates representing the Malaysian Nurses Association. She presented her report on the development of the Nursing Education Programmes in Malaysia.
MAHSA University’s nursing graduates are employed all over the world, to as far as the United Kingdom Saudi Arabia, Dubai, Australia, Singapore and many other countries.
The ICN Congress presented more opportunities for an in depth exchange of experience and expertise within and beyond the international community.
