Malawi Orphans Wowed Us
19 children from Malawi and 2 children from Lesotho who are all in Malaysia currently visited MAHSA University on 16th August 2017 for a one-day cultural exchange program.
The hall was packed with students and staff who wanted to show these children some love and appreciation. The Malawi children performed cultural dances, Shaolin kung fu and songs mostly with Mandarin essence as they have all been exposed to the Chinese language and culture alongside their national African educational syllabus.
The Malawi orphans have been in Malaysia for a month. The purpose of their travel and performances in Malaysia is mainly to spread the seed of love and also meet and show gratitude to all the foster parents and donors who have supported them.
We thank the Malaysian branch of the International Amitofo Care Charity Association (ACC) for organizing this. To the beautiful children of Malawi and Lesotho, thank you for your generosity of spirit and we hope you have enjoyed performing for us as much as we have enjoyed your presence here.
